Mon Cheri Rose
(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it.)
This is another new rose in our garden this year. The buds of this rose start pink, but open into a velvety red flower. It has a light fragrance, but we think it is a very showy rose.
With all the beautifukl roses you and Beatsy are showing us,I hope you have saved sopme pictures to share in the dead of winter. When it's -30C here I will need to see some of these flowers to brighten the day.:) Thankas for sharing the beauty. Blessings,Ruth

Extremely showy!!
You must be a master on roses.
You brightened my day again with this beautiful rose. Stop my place, as I have something for you.
Delightful!
How not to love a rose with a name so charming : Mon chéri, my darling. The name is itself a story... :o)
Beautiful color. Must be fun to watch it bud out from pink to a rich red.
What a wonderful rose George, you must spend hours tending your flowers and I love seeing the results on your blog. More please.
So pure rose! I found the color very exquisite.
What an absolutely GORGEOUS rose!!! I've enjoyed checking out some of the photos on this 'other' blog of yours this morning ;--)
