Bridal Veil Falls (Niagara), Part 2
(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it.)
In the picture I posted yesterday of Bridal Veil Falls at Niagara, it's possible to see the rails of steps leading up to the falls. The picture above was taken from those steps. As you can see, we got quite close to the falls. Fortunately, rain slickers were provided!

Mr Waterfall, great view.
Thank goodness for the rain slickers. Sure have to protect your camera. I mentioned the falls at Cumberland. I love the feel of the mist from the falls. This past summer when the lake was way down, due to a leak near the dam no one was allowed near the falls. A lot of the lake area was closed.

This is such an awesome image, George! Scary too — a reminder of the power of water. That Cave of the Winds tour looks like a fantastic tour!
i'm sure you were getting a lot of spray thrown your way. Great photo to show the tremendous volume and beauty.
Fantasic picture, George. Now I have to wipe the water of my monitor!

An awesome photo. I love the different colors showing in the tumbling water near the rail. Amazing.
Hey George you got that right, lol, looks like bridal veil for sure. Excellent choice for the title. Anna :)
What a time that must be. Some experience. How did you deal with the mist and the camera?
You are braver then me. I am not sure I would have gotten as close as you did. Nice picture.
Such force and power!
I remember my kids loved this part of the tour.
