More Autumn Color
(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it.)
Many of the trees around are house are now bare and we have many leaves on the lawn waiting to be picked up. But I want to share another view of what autumn looked like a couple of weeks ago.
I'm a happily married retiree living on the Cumberland Plateau of Tennessee. I taught for 31 years and worked as a systems analyst for 9 years before retiring.

What an awesome shot...love the angle, color and shadow!
Great shot. The red is gorgeous. We don't get as much red but more yellows and oranges.Still very pretty.

The tree is on fire, it burns itself until being bald.
I do wish we had more autumn color around here...
Some trees just don't want to quit. Tiny leaves on fire. MB
Such a lovely color.
We raked most of the day yesterday, but you'd never know it!
Sunny :)
Lovely colour. We've just suffered a day and night of gales and heavy rain which has stripped a lot of the leaves.
Beautiful colors and a beautiful picture.
I'm with you, George! I think I may post a few photos of pretty trees still, too!
