Pink Promise Rose
(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it.)
Today is November 1, but we still have roses in bloom in our yard. The rain and cooler weather has given them a new life and we have several in bud or in bloom.
I took this picture of Pink Promise on Friday, October 30. Both Betsy and I love the soft pink of this rose.

How lovely. You must have a very green thumb to have roses at this time of year.
Sunny :)
That is an image of perfection, George. What a great way to start Sunday.
It is called a Pink Promise, but how is a pink promise like in our life?
Wow, the roses are still blooming! That's wonderful. I love the seasons but sure wish winter was a little shorter in our neck of the woods. That's the nice thing about the south, it's not so intense.
Such a pretty name for a pretty rose. You certainly have a green thumb!
Now that is a BEAUTIFUL pink! Love it!
Beautiful pink rose! I'm amazed that they're still blooming. I've been cutting my rose bushes back. They're done for the year.
I admire roses for their resilience to cooler weather. Lovely rose, the petals are so velvety! Gorgeous!
George,
I am so jealous that you have flowers still blooming in your yard...wow, and such a beauty too!
Love your head liner pic also!!
Beautiful as usual. Nothing is more photogenic than a beautiful perfect rose, except a beautiful loving face.

Hi George. I didn't know you had 2 blogs---I guess I do too. haha
To answer a question you asked a bout Hallowe'en--No we don't get any trick or treaters. We never have in all the many many years I have been married and since. WeI just live too far out and no close houses.
that pink rose is very pretty and so perfect looking. It should be 'Perfect' Pink Promise. MB
