More Snow

(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it.)

Betsy was an associate minister when I met her and I've always suspected that she had "connections". She likes snow and has commented several times about our lack of snow here on the Plateau. But look what we came back to Monday afternoon. I don't think it does her much good to try and hide her connections with a scene like this!

That should have been 'a' beautiful scene to look out on.
A little after five in the morning is perhaps a little early for me. :)

Hi George - I am a regular reader of your sweet wife and was so excited to hear about your new camera the T1i

My canon xti has a very badly bent pin (a problem with the cameras that use the CF Card for storage). If I am not mistaken the T1i uses the SD card for storage.

I am seriously considering purchasing one of them (although I really wanted to move up a step to the pro camera from the entry level - but the pro canons all use the CF card - which I never want another one. They told me it would cost about $300 to send it out and have it fixed - so I am shooting on borrowed time - never taking the storage card out, cause if I do I may never get another one in it).

Sorry I am a rambler!! Anyway long story short - I am going to keep an eye on your blog for your thoughts and your photos using your new camera!I hope you will post about them!

(Cool too that you both got canons and can share lenses!)

Congratulations!

Betsy may have a strong power, but I do not think she caused us all this snow. She would be in big trouble if she did. I will show some of mine Wed. Stay warm.

You don't have to be modest, George. I know you arranged this for her as an added Valentine upon your return!

I agree with Ginny, I think it was a Valelntine's gift.

I wish I shared Betsy's love of snow. It's been coming down all day and it's so cold. That's a very pretty picture.

Hmmm..I suspect Betsy MUST have some connections.....You certainly have had plenty of snow for your area. We got a dusting out of the big storm that was called for yesterday. I am ready for spring to come. Winter in Maine can be very long, sometimes it starts in November and can go into late March! The scene you captured is very peaceful looking. Enjoy!
