A Winter Portrait of Our House

(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it.)

I had to go back to the last day of January to get a picture of blue skies here in the Glade, but our house looks so good in this wintry setting that I just couldn't resist sharing it with you.

********************

We're supposed to get some snow Friday night and more on Sunday night. I'm hoping to whisk Betsy away for a Mystery Trip between storms to celebrate Valentine Day. I'm also hoping that we can get back home without any problems. I can't tell you where we are going since Betsy reads this, but the chances that the trip includes waterfalls are pretty good! We hope to be back sometime Monday evening.

George, you are too romantic! Betsy is blessed to have you as her Valentine! I can't wait to hear about the trip! I'm sure you have wonderful plans. Your house is just amazing in this picture. It would look great on the cover of House Beautuful magazine.

Love the snug look of your home. What a get surprise for Vs Day. You are a good man, it seems. Can't wait for pictures. You are gonna have to go West or way South to get a moving waterfall, I'm thinking.

Lovely photo of your house George! That blue sky really does set off the green on your house. I do hope you and Betsy had a fun mystery trip.. :)

Lovely!
I really like that green. There is a home near our community grocery that was just this same color. I think it looks so natural and I often wished ours was the same color instead of gray. This past summer they covered it in a brown siding. It doesn't stand out anymore. :)
Hope you and Betsy have a wonderful trip. Can hardly wait to see where you took her. Safe travels.

The type of home you can really enjoy a crackling fireplace beside a big window.:)
