Best Kept Secret Daylily

(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it.)

We've been enjoying lilies and daylilies in our yard along with the roses. This daylily, Best Kept Secret, disappeared last year and I thought we had lost it. But it has made up for that by blooming beautifully this year.

I marvel each time I see a new variety of daylily. This one is especially pretty with the ruffled edges. Thanks for sharing this bloom with us today.

I missed my lilies I had in Singapore.

Re: The Brunei Chinese temple, this is actually not very old. Rebuilt in 1960s, based on the same model as the old 100 year old they had before.

I admire you and Betsy how you both grow gracefully together even though she has a sore knee and of course you blog together.

My husband reads my blogs and comments, and takes photos for me. he is also the unofficial censor.

That one is really gorgeous. I need to try some really colorful ones. Mrs T got turned off by the insipid orange ones surounding our house when we first bought it.

Clicking on the picture seemns to bring out the colors that you have captured so welland bring the lily to life. God's creation is certainly a wonder to behold.

Still haven't figured out why He created the mole.lol Maybe to help teach us patience.

Love the frilly edges. They make it look clothlike.
