Estatoah Falls

(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it.)

Sometimes we have to visit a waterfall long distance. We try to avoid that if possible, but sometimes there is no other way. Estatoah Falls, near Dillard, Georgia, is up on Ford Mountain on private property and no access is allowed. However. thanks to a telephoto lens, we were able to add Estatoah Falls to our collection from the highway.

That's very pretty George and I know you two love to eat at the Dillard House while in the area. We have many fond memories of dining at the Dillard House during Autumn. Thanks for sharing this waterfall which I've never seen before. Hope you have a good day and a safe trip to the Dr. with Betsy.

You must have a big album to keep all these waterfalls.

It actually almost looks like four small falls. But I'm sure it has one source at the top, the slate is very interesting.

thats too bad they don't allow you a closer view.
I guess it must be hard to get to.

this one is a lot different than your normal falls. not just because it is seen from afar, it just looks odd. like someone chopped a hole in the greenery and added a slide of somesort.

That's all I could find is that these are located on private property, but I wonder what it would take to obtain permission to get authorization to get up close and personal.

Imagine owning such a spectacular waterfall! A shame it's not open for public viewing, but you did manage to get a great shot!
