From the Archives: Flowers in Our Yard

(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it.)

This rose is called April in Paris.  I've never been to Paris, so I can't say whether or not the name is appropriate.  But I do know that we like the form and soft pink color of this rose, so that's enough for us.

George, I've been to Paris several times...but can't tell you enough about it to say whether any rose would describe it. Spent more time in the airport than outside it. ha.

Very nicely captured, George. I love the rose's soft pink shade.

I have been to Paris. I will take the rose any day over it. Much too expensive and nothing but history everywhere. I never have been much of an historian.

Pink is my favorite color. And Rose is my favorite flower. So I love it especially at this time where we got 20 inches of snow from the recent storm. thanks for sharing.
