An Early Morning Scene
(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it.)
In an attempt to feel warmer on these cold winter days, I'm posting this picture from early summer. This picture was taken on the fourteenth hole of the Druid Hills golf course here in the Glade. The morning sun is coming up on the left, although you can still see fog in the valley beyond the trees.

Oh how very tranquil, George. We are having cold rain this a.m. and it's good to think of warmer weather!
Beautiful moment that.. the beginning of a new day.. maybe a great day :)
Greetings..
Landscape that enchants, almost magical!!!!!!!!
i know you are ready for spring after all the cold, photos can take us back in time. we have fog over everything here.
It dose give one a warm fuzzy feeling to gaze out over the mountains, George.
I also stopped by to smell your beautiful rose below.. Thanks George, Its glorious!
Very serene shot. MB
What a great shot, George! I love early morning time the best of all and this just makes me want to be out there on the fairway. ☺
Such a soft and peaceful scene. Thanks for the visit and happy weekend!

That image is helping place myself in a warm, humid setting. Yes, even a little humidity would be a welcome change. :)
Photo's like this are a good thing this week George lol!
That's a beautiful scene. Fog in the valleys is wonderful -- from a distance.
looks like it will be a beautiful day.Now if only that time were here soon.We have mild temps today, but with it come icy roads.

I can hear the Druids chanting now.
I am staying inside and not caring about the weather!!!! Plus I am just thankful we did NOT get frozen precipitation today!
This is a lovely scene to go out and have fun in the morning sun.
The passage is gorgeous george, should give you practice golf on sites like this! you enjoyed!
Today, I need more than scene to feel warmer. We are under so much ice and snow. Six inches of snow. I am sure you are used to it, but we are not here.
Thanks! I needed to see that!
My morning over here is so bright and warm.
I would like to share it with you.
Our forty degree day seemed like a heat wave! :)
This is a beautiful landscape George.
Just got our wood stove installed... so, perhaps we would like to have 'a little of winter' to enjoy the stove before the coming of summer...
Fantastic scenery!
The idea of spring fog sounds so inviting! :)
Hi George,
About your comment about our river having water in it, well actually it is bone dry again. I shot that photo right after some heavy rains.
Kay
