From the Archives: Flowers in Our Yard
(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it.)
Chicago Peace is a rose that Betsy and I consider to be gorgeous with a wonderful form. We've enjoyed this rose for about three years. Chicago Peace is a descendant of Peace, which we also have in our yard. Peace has more yellow than pink, but as you can see, Chicago Peace has more pink than yellow.

How did they come up with those names? Now you will have to post Peace so we can compare them! I actually drew in a breath when I saw this one, it is so beautiful!! I just love the color. Now If you'll excuse me, I'll go off somewhere and mourn for spring.
Gorgeous! Until today, I was ignorant concerning Chicago Peace. I love Peace roses; had a both the 'regular' Peace and a large climbing variety at my former home, but have none here.
What a gorgeous flower.

OBTW, sorry buddy, but we've already sent the fresh batch of cold on Eastward. I'm sure it will leave most of it's cold in the mountains on the way there.

You always have gorgeous rose photos, George. My roses always have insect holes or shriveled petals when I get out the camera for a photo.
What a beautiful shot of a pink rose.
I can almost feel the velvety of those petals.
I love the whole Peace clan. Your picture is so beautiful.
