Drawing from a Photo: Mt. Nebo Cabin
(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it.)
I never had much artistic ability, although I have always admired people who could play a musical instrument or create beautiful art. So I became very intrigued when I learned how to create a line drawing from a photograph.
The photo above is a picture of 'our' cabin on Mount Nebo in Arkansas. The picture below is the line drawing created from it using Adobe Photoshop.

You never stop learning, you've done a good job, and I also have a house in the mountains of stone similar to that of your pictures!!
That's pretty cool, George.. I don't have Photoshop so I'm amazed at the drawing.

It is amazing what you can do with a photo. I love the drawing feature. Have a good weekend. Take care.
You are now a successful artist.
that is a neat drawing. it's amazing what Photoshop can do these days.
The second one looks a bit more modern and airy, they each have a different atmosphere now. Did you get a new photo editing program?
That is too good. You are talented. :)
Lovely cottage, and invite me someday ... JAJAJA. The result has been a pretty picture, great.
This is a so pretty and out of the way cozy place. A writers paradise to enjoy.
A place to relax and enjoy.:)
I'm intrigued, too. I wonder how the heck they do that with software!
The effect is great.
Adobe Photoshop is a good teacher. You draw like a pro :-)
Lovely.Perhaps with Photoshop I might even become an artist.:)
I think this is an interesting effect. I like it. Looks like a completely wonderful cabin.
Looks like you sat out there in the yard with pencil and sketchbook and drew away.
A nice rendering of the cabin!
Hi George, excellent work.
I guess back to blogger now.
Anna :)
That is interesting. I guess I would need some drawing aid big time have flunked Stick Figure 101 in Kindergarten. :)
That's pretty cool. I would like to be able to draw and/or paint, too...... maybe in heaven!
It's a nice design...
Kisses.
You have a very beautiful cabin.
So pretty!
Very interesting!
George, that is amazing what you did. I wish I knew how to do just anything different. However, I would need a better camera than what I have. I dearly love that cabin. What a lovely place. I can see why you enjoy going there so much.
Good job George, one of these days I'm going to ask my 5 year old son to teach me how to Photoshop!
Very nice work, George! Now I want to try that!
Hey that's pretty neat work. Keep it up :)

Hmm - not much artistic ability? You my friend have creativity at your very core. The images you see through your lens are all works of art. Photoshop just continues that process - enjoy!
