Yahoola Creek Dam
(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it.)
When Betsy and I were in Dahlonega, Georgia, in March I caught sight of this dam as we crossed a bridge over Yahoola Creek. The water flowing over the top of the dam looked so pretty that I just had to find a place to pull off so I could get a picture.

Great angle, George.
Fabulous capture!
It's beautiful in the LARGE format ... beautiful taken !
Fast moving water is always a neat but challenging opportunity. You did good George. :)
Great capture. I'm glad you took the time to pull over and get a photo.
when i enlarged, the detail of the water is amazing to look at, like stripes falling. beautiful and glad you stopped
NICE photo, George! I need to work on getting such a nice flow of water. You captured it very well!
Great photo George. It looks so powerful.
I like how you get the movement in the water. This is another great sight.
I love that dreamy shot of the water. Thanks for sharing!

the combination of the way the water flows and the angle of your shot looks like art...beautiful

Well, I clicked on this one, George, because there was just SOMETHING about it. And when it was larger, I saw what that was. The water coming down looks like brush strokes in symetrical sections.
All that power passing through that space, and yet the image looks soft to the eyes. Nice shot, George.
this must have been a source of water for the residents nearby! the flowing water is so cute.
This is very pretty. Can you imagine them making things like this? lol
I am glad you have shared it with us.
That is gorgeous - - - prettier than art!
what a fantastic multi-level waterfall, George and you captured it perfectly.
I love the town of Dahlonega and all its
quaint shops.
I hope your back is feeling better, George.
be well, be happy :)
