Smoky Mountain Sky

(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it. Clicking a second time will make it full-sized.)

While driving Newfound Gap Road through the Smokies from Cherokee, North Carolina, to Gatlinburg, Tennessee, Betsy and I stopped at an overlook in North Carolina to admire the mountains. I noticed the sun rays streaming through the clouds in the background and snapped this picture.

Really like your new header shot. It looks like such a quiet secluded place. A place you would want to sit and enjoy for hours.

There is one particular spot on the evening commute that I have frequently seen those gorgeous sunbeams, but it is impossible to pull over in that area. I'm glad you caught these.

Amazing that the sky can look so different from moment to moment. The same sky but never the same!

Forgot to mention that your header looks so good. Water is clear.

Smoky mountain is one of the mountain that I learned in my earlier year.

Not from textbook, but from a song.
