(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it. Clicking a second time will make it full-sized.)
It's usually a sure sign that Spring is here to stay when our red bud trees bloom. That's especially true when the sky is a beautiful blue.
This picture was taken in April, 2010.

I thought it had bees all over it, until I made it big and saw that it was little yellow-green leaves. Very nice.

Mine have already finished blooming but some trees are still in full bloom and I love them :)
This looks like a lovely redbud to me. Your Hen and Chicks is outstanding with the sun n it, I love the purple on it.
Looks a lot like some of our trees right now, minus the blue sky today. Definitely lifts the spirits to see Spring coming.
Cudownie wygląda drzewo całe w pięknych, różowych kwiatach. Pozdrawiam.
The whole tree looks wonderful in a beautiful pink flowers. Yours.
So fond of redbuds, especially when they're the only tree blooming among the bare branches--first promise of spring. Do you have them in your yard as well?
The blooms are exquisite against the sky, George.
I took a deep breath almost thinking I could smell the spring fragrence.... ;)
This is the same color as my redbud. We have wild redbuds in the timber which blooms really are red in color. Great photo.
The pink blossoms against the blue sky are indeed beautiful, and a lovely sign of spring.
