Plateau Sky
(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it. Clicking a second time will make it full-sized.)
The Cumberland Plateau is the highest wooded plateau in the U. S., and most of it is rural. On a beautiful June day we are reminded of how fortunate we are to live here. This picture was taken near Hebbertsburg, Tennessee, just a few miles from our home in the Glade.

What did you do to this one to make the clouds look like that? Did you use the new lens you use on the water shots?
stunning sky in this one.
Wow! Love that vivid blue!!
I'll have the same view hours later when wind starts to blow.
Hi George, Love this pictures. Excellent shot!
Have a nice weekend.
I love the contrast between today's post and your post on the thirteenth. The many faces of a sky filled with clouds. Both great shots.
That is stunning.
My FAVORITE kind of sky!
Yes, what did you do to make the clouds look painted?
I love skies with fluffy white clouds like this one.
Nicely done, George.
This is the kind of day that you never want to go inside!!!
Look at the blue color
Our skies are always grey
You are indeed lucky to live there.

I too, love living where we are surrounded by the trees and mountains!

Awesome sky watch! I like the poster effect you used on it.
