Roaring Fork in the Smokies (2)
(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it. Clicking a second time will make it full-sized.)
The picture above was taken in April as Betsy and I hiked along Roaring Fork in the Smokies in late April. The Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail behind Gatlinburg follows this beautiful stream along much of the way, providing many places to pull off and enjoy the beauty.

Very nice. I've got to get me one of those filters. I love driving that Nature Trail.
i love the Gatlinburg area, so beautiful and looks like it was not raining on this hike.
❤♡ Olá, amigo!
Lugar calmo, tranquilo, posso imaginar o barulho da água caindo...
Bom fim de semana!

Loved!!!! What a delicious place...
Warm hug, sir.
Have a good weekend.
What if the flow of time can be slowed down like the water effect?
George, fantastic photo!!!!
Wonderful ...! I like, great photo, I love that white water!
I just love little streams and waterfalls--something so peaceful about them-both sight and sound. Mickie:)
I love the softness of this photo; beautiful!
What a wonderful photo of a gorgeous place. Thanks so much for sharing, George.

This picture is beautiful. I love the patterns on the rock on the left, and the two branches at the top, laying down. And of course the water looks diving!
Make that divine...although it does look good for diving, but a bit rocky.
Your water photos are simply beautiful and I love the greens, too! Enjoy the weekend, George.
A trip to the Smokies would not be complete for me if I didn't take the Roaring Fork Tour! I just love that route. For me it really takes you back in time.
A lovely image George!
Lovely capture.
I wished this was an audio photo, so that I could hear the running water! Well done George!
Have a great weekend.
Really, really beautiful!
Stunning!!!!

Your photo captures the music of the falling water--magically!
wow!! just beautiful!
The waterfall is so beautiful, George. The moss on the rocks really adds to the beauty.
Super shot George, love your fall shots.
George, a magical forest scene with fallen trees and silken water flowing over moss covered rocks.
Wish I was there to hear the peaceful sounds.
Thanks for sharing the beauty, George.. have a blessed Sunday.

Another perfect capture of a lovely waterfall! You should take all your waterfall shots and put together a photo book!
I like how the water looks like satin.
Is this one taken with your fancy new filter, George? It's just amazing what you capture--especially the water. Agree with Betsy--looks like silk.
George, thank You very much !!!!
My first thought was that it looks like milk. :) Lovely shot.
Wow, i wish we had discovered the motor trail when we were visiting Gatlinburg. That's a nice picture of a serene waterfall. We could use some of that water around here in Ohio - very dry!
If the weather is good I think in the fall I shall retune to that area once more. It's been a very long time since I was there and I loved it so!!
