Cades Cove

(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it.)

One of the most popular areas of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park is Cades Cove. The Cove has been preserved by the park to look much the same way it looked in the 1800's. Once home to a small mountain community, Cades Cove today has original pioneer homesteads, barns, businesses, pastures and farmland -- as well as whitetail deer and black bears.

The colour you put on the photo has in another way preserved Cades Cove.

I like the look of the sepia tones, it gives it that aged feeling.
Happy Sunday.

Cades Cove is always the number one spot on my visit to the Smokies. I don't care what else I do as long as I get here.
I thought I heard they were going to do some roadwork there and I meant to look it up. I wasn't sure I wanted them to change anything. I'll have to go google that now.
Lovely shot with this effect!
