Harvest Moon

(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it.)

I haven't had a great deal of success when it comes to getting pictures of the moon, but that hasn't kept me from trying. Last week we had a beautiful full moon, so I tried again.

It is too lonely up there.

I've never had any luck with taking a picture of the moon either. You did good though.

I am glad you did not give up as that is a super good shot of the moon. It truly looks like a harvest moon should look.

Whatever lens you used it worked !
Somehow it's so alluring, yet desolate, I prefer earth ;)

Your moon is lovely!

I'm not sure what your setting were at, but I recommend trying it at 100 ISO (because the moon is so bright - it will help to capture more details) and at a quick shutter speed. Oh, and a tripod definitely helps too. :)
