Remembering Autumn Colors

(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it.)

The colors were so brilliant last month when Betsy and I came home along the Cherohala Skyway that I couldn't resist posting this picture. This was taken at an overlook in North Carolina.

The colors are breathtaking. Our trees are bare now...what a difference a month makes.

Wow, wished I could see these in person! Now I am looking at dark, leafless trees.

That's an amazing mixture of red and gold. I'm sure it was a magnificent landscape.

The colors are just wonderful George. We still have the Brdford Pear trees to change color, they turn a gorgeous dark red, and they are evrywhere around here.
We are still changing, but you living further east have probably finished by now.
Just a beautiful shot !

Amazing photo George. We had some spectacular views to, but they are all gone by now. I watched my red maple tree in the front of the house to loose its leafs in one day. Anna :)
