An Early Morning Scene

(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it.)

In an attempt to feel warmer on these cold winter days, I'm posting this picture from early summer. This picture was taken on the fourteenth hole of the Druid Hills golf course here in the Glade. The morning sun is coming up on the left, although you can still see fog in the valley beyond the trees.

That image is helping place myself in a warm, humid setting. Yes, even a little humidity would be a welcome change. :)

That's a beautiful scene. Fog in the valleys is wonderful -- from a distance.

Today, I need more than scene to feel warmer. We are under so much ice and snow. Six inches of snow. I am sure you are used to it, but we are not here.

Just got our wood stove installed... so, perhaps we would like to have 'a little of winter' to enjoy the stove before the coming of summer...

Hi George,
About your comment about our river having water in it, well actually it is bone dry again. I shot that photo right after some heavy rains.
