Flower From Biltmore

(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it.)

Betsy and I celebrated Valentine Day by going back to the Conservatory at Biltmore House in Asheville, North Carolina. I don't know what flower this is, but I loved the color and took this picture.

So rather than a bouquet, you gave your sweetheart a whole house full of flowers!

Are the cyclamens?

We are feeling the shock again as the earthquake hit right in the middle of the city and during the day.

Shall keep you posted.

This looks like cyclamen George and it is a good gift to give when someone retires or is moving away or leaving for another job or something.
It says goodbye, fare well, auf viderzehn. lol

Yes it is a Cyclamen as others have said. A nice house plant and there is a Hardy Cyclamen which is smaller but just as showy with beautiful varied leaves. I sent some corms to a lady in Tennessee and they are blooming fine outside. MB
