Flowers From Our Yard: Pansies

(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it.)

Our pansies have recovered from the snow and cold of the past two months and are now blooming in the sunshine of the past few days. It's wonderful to see these cheery blossoms in various places about the yard.

How wonderful, George to have pansies in the garden. We are waiting for the crocuses and daffodils. They are about to appear now any day!
Thanks for your sympathy with the people of Christchurch.

Pansies have been a childhood favorite of mine! I've even learned to paint them and have done so on some antique pieces. So now I can have them all year round!
Have a fabulous day!

You are making me feel very jealous, George. It's snowing here and we are expecting more snow tonight so I guess I will continue to post mostly white and grey photos for a while. :)

How adorable in the bleak mid-winter!! We have just never had any luck with them, but I think we plant them when it's still too hot, I'm trying again this fall.
