Full Moon at the Beach

(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it.)

I captured this picture of the full moon last December while Betsy and I were at the beach. This picture was taken several hours before the start of the eclipse that same night. You can see a picture of the eclipse HERE.

Fantastic photo. The full moon is always the trickiest to capture :-) I've had a few lucky shots of the moon but I'm far from mastering it :-(

Fantastic shot, you didn't start howling did you George?

Great shot. That sure was a beautiful eclipse! The clouds separated here just in time for me to see most of it. :)

Lovely moon! We didn't see any moon here on eclipse night -- before, during or after; thick cloud cover.

I see the man in the moon.
the clouds parted just enough to see parts of the eclipse. Awesome. MB

Great photo of the moon. Just think, we landed on the moon back in July of 1969,(maybe we did and maybe we didn't) ???? :-)

P.S. I like the frozen pine needles in your header.

This is a beautiful moon picture, and I love the header of the ice in the pine needles!!

A full moon is not strong enough to melt the ice.

Now that is a romantic scene. You and Betsy on the beach at night with a full moon.

Just think Appolo 11 Astonaut Eugene Aldrin took his communion on the moon and they also read genesis which
NASA did not appreciate.
So we are watching something spectacular George.:)

Such wonderful detail!

It is photos like this that make me almost want a DSLR rather than my handy pocket camera. Almost. :)
