Rim Trail View

(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it.)

The 3.5-mile Rim Trail encircles Mount Nebo just below the summit. I found this scene on the eastern side of the mountain.

Rugged yet beautiful. It seems like the cloudy sky add to the ruggedness.

What a great view from the cliff! Be careful where you step, though.

Stunning, there is no other word for it George. Just watch your step up there!

Yes as others have said- I hope you were on more solid ground than the photo leaves you to believe. Also kudos for getting out there on a day that many people would have just stayed in.

This is truly a postcard George.
This could make for a great wall mural.

Any scene from the top or around a mountain makes for a lovely sight. This is a very pretty one. Glad you are back and had a good trip.

Gorgeous view! And I very much like the layers of rock in the foreground.

This picture reminds me of the place called 'the world's end' in the highlands of Sri Lanka. Nice view.

Reminds me of that old song -"I can see for miles and miles..."
Is that a redbud tree in the foreground?
Stunning view!

The cliff looks like a rubble of rocks, you better not stand too near to the edge and not ask Betsy to be your model.
