Custard Candy Daylily

(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it. Clicking a second time will make it full-sized.)

I've been emphasizing our roses in the pictures I've been posting on this blog, but we have other flowers in our yard as well. This daylily, Custard Candy, is in two of our flower beds. I really like the color and that yellow border around the inner petals. All-in-all I would say that Custard Candy looks good enough to eat.

It is very pretty, and ruffly, to. I cannot understand how you can tell all your hundreds of flowers one from the other, how you memorize all their names!

This flower is so exquisite! I have never seen this combination of colours before! Do you crossbreed your flowers to find new colours? Thanks for sharing!
