Blue Sky and Contrails
(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it.)
I was too late to get the plane that left these contrails over our house, but they looked so nice in the beautiful blue sky that I couldn't resist snapping this picture.

Great picture - looks like big ribbons in the sky! We set a record high in GA yesterday (95) ~ I sure hope we get some cooler temps SOON!
Interesting George. And did you notice that the contrails appear to go straight up from the ground. I also snapped a couple pics of contrails recently from here because I noticed that they looked vertical instead of the normal horizontal.

The blue against the white is striking!
Luckily the plane is just imagined to have fallen down...
Two planes in parallel? Were they doing a stunt there? :)
Lovely contrasts in colors.
☼ Sunny
The effect looks like it was two planes and thy were headed straight down!!
Beautiful contrast of the blue sky n white puffy trails.
I always ehjoy looking at the sky.
Better without the planes - more of a mysterious effect. I know contrails aren't good for us, but they do make for interesting skies.
Thanks for the lesson in words. Today contrails is no longer a foreign word for me. I used to call this an airplane's jet stream.
Nice photo. I like to watch them get wider and wider until they disappear.
Nice bright blue sky for those contrails. Pretty photo!
Stunning photo !
What a gorgeous blue sky, and free from clouds except the white contrails.
Wow George! You still have that lovely blue. We had a short rain shower today.
Is your house on a slant George??
These planes look like they went DOWN!!!! lol
Beautiful sky!
Regards.

This is a nice capture. Beauty in simple things. I like it.
Yes, contrails are such irresistible subjects for photography. :)
What a gorgeous blue that sky is.
Yeah! It was a spectacular photo! What a sky so blue!
Kisses.
The fluffy white ribbons are indeed beautiful in the clear blue sky.
I can't blame you... they do look awesome!
