Peppermint Splash Rose
(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it.)
Peppermint Splash is another of our new roses this year. It's definitely the most unique rose we have, with white, red, and peppermint-pink splashes and speckles. No two blossoms are alike.
Last week we visited the Butchart Gardens in Victoria and I thought of you and your roses. It was the MOST amazing garden I have ever seen. Unfortunately it was raining pretty hard and we couldn't take our cameras in to get amazing pictures of the gardens. The rose garden was like none other. You and Betsy would love it.
When I saw this, I really wondered!! Because I remember seeing this one on Betsy's blog, it was my favorite that day. And it did not look like this! It had lots more white. Now I know why, gosh. Hey George, you ought to take a close-up of the whole bush, and show us how each bloom is different. Find a part of the bush to snap that has the most roses on it. Because I have never seen such a thing.

You have the prettiest roses. Your yard must be gorgeous when they are all in bloom.
An intoxicating picture. :)
Thanks for showing this flower! It's a unique species of roses. It's brilliant.
Interesting colors. And it does look like peppermint!
Peppermint and rose are an odd combo but the rose is elegant.
this is the first time i heard about peppermint rose. well, i only know rose and don't know all the other varieties.
With out a doubt it is a special rose. The slashes of variegated colors make it look good enough to eat, George.
