The Falls

(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it.)

Sometimes waterfalls can be found in unexpected places. The Piedmont Region of Virginia is mostly flat, but that's where Betsy and I found The Falls. The Falls doesn't have a very original name and it didn't have much water when we found it in the summer of 2007, but it's a nice addition to our collection just the same.

I had to click on this one, because it's so different from other waterfall pictures. The trees make the water appear very green. Looks kind of peaceful, not like the other wild ones! We are going to try and find that one in Vesuvious as soon as the weather clears up. It's only about a half hour or so away.

Sure a big difference in this picture and the weather you are having now. At least you can dream of days that will be warmer soon.

Ooh George, what a serene and beautiful picture....
Glad to read your staying warm and cozy beside your big roaring fire, cup of tea beside you ;)
We've made Betsy happy with all the snow !!

A pretty little falls. Maybe you can go back when it has more water falling. MB
