Letchworth State Park, New York

(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it.)

In 2002 Betsy and I went up to Niagara Falls and spent several days enjoying those falls. On the way back home we visited Letchworth State Park in New York. Letchworth contains three waterfalls. Although smaller than Niagara they are all beautiful. The picture above is of Upper Falls.

The waterfall is tall, but the bridge is even taller.

It must be very frightening to be on top of the bridge.

You find the best spots. Is that a bridge?

This is one of the few times when I'm as much in awe of the man-made object as in nature's magnificence. Both the bridge and the waterfall are fantastic!

Very nice falls and the bridge is a nice added bonus.
