Niagara River at the Brink

The picture above was taken on Goat Island, New York, and shows the Niagara River just before it goes over the Canadian (Horseshoe) Falls. The picture was taken when we visited Niagara Falls back in 2002.
I'm a happily married retiree living on the Cumberland Plateau of Tennessee. I taught for 31 years and worked as a systems analyst for 9 years before retiring.

Its really amazing to be there seeing and hearing it. I've been a couple of times and have been awed each time.
