More Autumn Color
(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it.)
The autumn colors were so vivid when Betsy and I traveled the Blue Ridge Parkway in October that I took many pictures. This picture was taken at an overlook on the Parkway south of Maggie Valley, North Carolina.
I'm a happily married retiree living on the Cumberland Plateau of Tennessee. I taught for 31 years and worked as a systems analyst for 9 years before retiring.

More autumn color to warm the winter. Good idea.
I think the colors this past Fall were the best I have seen.
But, I love the frozen waterfall in your header. MB
Yet another colorful photo!!
Nice comment by Rainfield too :)
Oh yes, that is so pretty.
Glorious colors!
A photo from our neck of the woods! Nice to see, I take more pictures in Fall than any other season.
Beautiful colors, and a great glimpse of a blue sky.
Oh wow, so fiery, George! I enlarge it, it's truly beautiful! Especially with that blue sky peeping against the red! :)
Wild and beautiful, George. I love the color.
OH, I know Maggie Valley!
This is lovely with that blue sky behind all the gorgeous color.
Very dramatic colors, especially against the dark branches.
Autumn is such a beautiful time of year. Too bad it doesn't last longer.
