Colors on Monday: Yellow

(These pictures can be enlarged by clicking on it.)

Jen at Unglazed is hosting a mini meme, Colors on Monday. This week's color is Yellow.

Nothing says 'Spring' as nicely as a bright yellow daffodil blooming in the sun. This beauty is Brecks Colossal, and blooms in our front yard each spring.

Of course, we also have some yellow roses. When we got home from the beach this Spring we were welcomed by this rose, appropriately named Welcome Home.

This beauty is called New Day, an appropriate name I think.

Midas Touch is the yellow rose we've had longest.

Spring has sprung, say the flowers.

We have daffodils in the gardens and parks. This Friday, we have daffodil day, in aid of cancer.

You are featuring a great post for this day. As to a different color each week, you certainly will have no problem participating with all your pretty flowers. I love these today.

Beautiful yellow roses! And I didn't think of daffodils when thinking of yellow. They were my favorite flower growing up (now it's roses).

Yellow is a very cheerful colour . I love it. I wonder why it's associated with "Yellow Press"or being "ÿellow" as in being a coward. That's not fair for such a sunny colour.

I think I like the Midas Touch rose the best! Though, the daffodil looks so pretty with the purple flowers contrasting in the background.
Beautiful post today!

Yellow roses are my favorite of all roses! Though I would never turn down a dozen roses of any color!
Believe it or not, I have daffodils in my yard that bloom in early February. Yep, that's springtime here in the desert!
Have a fabulous day!

You're right George. Nothing says spring like daffodils.

Pretty roses don't hurt either.

Gorgeous pictures. Daffodils are about the only thing that grows here before the leaves are in full bloom and shade the sun. Our roses look pitiful and we have knock out roses which are supposed to survive anything!
