Low Water

(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it.)

The Tellico River seemed to hold more boulders than water when I took this picture back in July, 2007. But even so we enjoyed the drive along the river and found many spots to pull over and take in the view.

Beautiful. As a canoeist I'd rate that water "highly technical." :)

Every time you drive by a place its always different.
This is what makes it so interesting.

Would be very interesting to see comparative photos -- high water years vs. years like the one in the photo!

We do live in a beautiful area, don't we?!!!

Sometimes I like the water lower to be able to really see the outlay of the river itself.
Makes me want to dip my toes!

I'll bet those falls are roaring earlier in the year. Maybe you'll go back in May and take a photo for comparison.
