Evening in the Mountains
(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it.)
Our good friends Judy and Charlie have a cabin in the North Carolina mountains near Franklin. They have invited us to visit them and enjoy the grandeur of the mountains from their deck. This picture was taken one evening last May.

I love pink skies!!!
Very nice, George! You really captured a winner! Gorgeous colors!!
There is so much beauty in your state. I love it and so nice seeing it again through your lens.
A pretty pink sky!
there is nothing more beautiful in nature, than the sum coming up or going down. it is a special time of the day and you captured it
I've been to Franklin, TN, but not Franklin, NC. And now I like both.
I wonder why I was not invited. I missed this one.
What a gorgeous way to end the day!
Blessings,Ruth
Beautiful enough to make one cry!
The black trees up against the pink sky are sharp and lovely, a study in contrast!
Oh so very beautiful! What a view to behold.
George if you can paint this would be a great picture to begin with Start with the sky and go down and then the trees on the side. I love making murals and have to hold back when I see pictures I like to paint. lol
The silhouettes of grey and black are stunning against the pink sky.
What a breathtaking view, just lovely.
I have been enjoying your posts but having problems leaving comments, hopefully that has been resolved.
Sunny :)
This is just so lovely! Your friends are so lucky to have this wonderful view from their cabin. And you are so luck too, for having friends like them! ;)
