Pansies Are Hardy

(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it.)

Each autumn Betsy and I plant pansies in our yard. If we're lucky they will provide some color until Spring. This past winter was much rougher than normal and we didn't have many blossoms most of the time. The pansies that survived looked pretty bedraggled a short month ago, but now they have perked up and are blooming nicely.

Gorgeous !
Yesterday I took pictures of the pansies still in full bloom, if only they would tolerate HOT weather.
Thank you for sharing.
A lovely picture for a perfect spring Sunday.

Oh, how lovely! I adore pansies!!! Growing up as a child, we had one huge crock of them on each side of the porch steps.

Pansies are a hardy plant. They do real good in our California winters, of course we don't have much of a winter.

I can plant pansies now in April but they would never survive our winters. I love their perky faces. :)

Sweet and simple. I like the detail at the center. Nice to see that they have sprung back to full vitality.

These are very interesting flowers and very eye catching.
They are all so different and yet all the same My favorite are the multicolored ones that seem to look out at you.
