Pink Dogwood

(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it.)

One of the sure signs of Spring is the blossoms on the pink dogwood tree in our front yard. The blossoms never seem to stay around as long as we would like, but they are beautiful while they last.

Ooh it's such a fine specimen !
We used to have two pink dogwood trees...large ones, but sadly some kind of ants took over, and destroyed the entire trees.
We now have the new white ones, I was told they are hardier, lets hope so.
Such a beautiful, and meaningful tree.

This is lovely, and I must say I've never seen this color, or known it existed. All our pink ones around here are very light pastel.
