Autumn in the Glade

(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it. Clicking a second time will make it full-sized.)

On a clear autumn day it seems possible to see forever from some places here in the Glade. This picture was taken at an overlook on the fourteenth hole of the Druid Hills Golf Course. It's one of our favorite spots in the Glade.

I would like to see the view taken at the overlook on other holes of the golf course.

That's got to be one of the most peaceful, serene photos I've seen since morning! This made my day... I'm not too fond of the game golf, but I'd happily take it up if I knew the game had these sceneries to offer :D

Cheers,

What a beautiful carpet lies in front of you there. Great shot.

OBTW, my blog is finally back, restored and in full swing. Thanks for your support!

Just gorgeous. So did Druids live there once upon a time? You just KNEW I would eventually get around to this. I think it is a reasonable explanation, since their thing was stone rings and such, not golf and clubs. Your beautiful header is also a wonderful illusion. Blur your eyes a bit and it looks like clouds all around the mountain!
