Betsy and I started home before dawn after our trip out west earlier this year. We had been on the road for quite a while when dawn started to break out in Wyoming. We just had to stop and get pictures of the sky and the Hoback River as the sun announced a glorious day ahead.

Sunset at Mormon Row
(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it. Clicking a second time will make it full-sized.)
There are many places in Grand Teton National Park from which to enjoy views of the setting sun. One of our favorite places is Mormon Row. This photo was taken in the Mormon Row Historical District just after the sun dropped behind the mountains. It was a magical moment.

Grand Tetons Panorama
(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it. Clicking a second time will make it full-sized.)
Betsy and I really enjoyed our return visit to Grand Teton National Park earlier this year. There was smoke and haze the first couple of days of our visit, but the weather cleared and we were able to enjoy those majestic mountains in all their glory our last few days. I captured this panorama of the Tetons near the end of our visit.

Beehive Geyser
(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it. Clicking a second time will make it full-sized.)
Betsy and I were fortunate enough to see the eruption of several geysers while visiting Yellowstone, including four different eruptions of Old Faithful. One of the first eruptions we saw was this display by Beehive Geyser. We both thought the plume was gorgeous against that brilliant blue sky.
