This is another in the series featuring a rose from our yard.
One of the first roses I ever grew was Mister Lincoln. I got this rose when I lived in North Carolina about 40 years ago, and it quickly became a favorite with its deep red color and delightful fragrance. Mister Lincoln was one of the first roses Betsy and I got here in the Glade, and we look forward to enjoying it each year.

Gorgeous!
That rose is simply beautiful...:)
Have an awesome weekend !
This looks like it would have been the first rose ever before all the varieties came up. It is what you think of when you hear the word "rose".
Its a perfect rose and a perfect shot George
A good name for a traditional rose that can give beauty in a corsage or make a man look even more handsome. Sure wish we had "smell-o-vision" so you could share the fragrance with us.
It is a beautiful Rose--very RED. A large bloom too. MB
An exceptionally gorgeous red rose. However, you do not grow anything that is not lovely to see.
It is a stunning flower.
The petals look velvety. I'd love to touch it and breathe in its scent.
Wow, that rose is quite red. Lovely picture
This is my favorite of all roses!
