I have quite a bit of Irish in my background, so I just had to have this rose — Saint Patrick — in our yard. It’s a little hard to tell in this picture, but when the blossom first opens the outer petals have a touch of green to them. I guess that explains how it got its name.

I can see those touches of green at the edges. Very nice. The color reminds me of a butter mint.
Your photo of this lovely rose is perfect. And I do see the hint of green around the edges, but I would have missed that completely if you hadn't mentioned it.
Well I am thrilled thaat you have Irish in our blood and this is a marvellous reminder of that George. A lovely Rose.
What a gorgeous Rose to have in our yard!!!!! And YES---it does have 'green' in it --more in the beginning stages and ending stages... Gorgeous rose .... Beautiful picture!!!!!

I have one that looks similar, but the edges are pink. You and Betsy definitely have a green thumb.

Hi George, that's a lovely rose. You and your Mrs are very good in gardening. All the blooms from your garden are gorgeous. Very impressive.
Have a nice day, regards.

What a beautiful rose, George. I'll bet its a hardy rose, just like those hardy Irish ancestors!
