Fontana Lake

(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it.  Clicking a second time will make it full-sized.)

My Beautiful Bride and truly enjoy driving the back roads, especially when we’re in the mountains of eastern Tennessee and western North Carolina.  These roads don’t work well when we’re in a hurry or have to be some place at a given time,  The problem is that there is always a wonderful view around the next curve that simply insists we stop and get a picture.

I got this picture of Fontana Lake in North Carolina several years ago while we were driving through the Nantahala National Forest in North Carolina.  Fortunately we had time to stop and enjoy the view.

Thanks for allowing us to enjoy this beauty with you. This part of the country and Colorado the best.

Indeed with you on the back road and here the state highways have beautiful view than national highways, and it passes through mostly countryside. You got a lovely view there and it’s impossible to miss!

That is a spectacular view. Back roads are some of the best and most interesting places to go.
