Autumn Color in the Glade
(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it.)
The rain and cooler weather of the past week have really helped the colors to pop out. I was out splitting wood last week and looked up to see these red leaves against the blue sky. I just had to put down my axe and grab my camera.

You better don't mix up camera with the axe, end up splitting wood with your camera. lol.
I am glad you took time out from work to capture this beautiful shot. It would also make a super Sky Watch. Take care.
Beautiful. Glad you put down the axe before running for the camera!
Sure glad you made that choice. The picture is sooo pretty.
Blessings,Ruth
I agree that is very pretty against a blue sky.
I am so glad you did. That is quite a burst of color up there.
Like the true photographer and nature lover. It is a lovely inspiring picture. I walk around any more with my nose up in the air looking for photo opts.

I love the shot George and hope those lovely leaves stay a while for you to enjoy.
Hi George,
I spend this sunny beautiful RI day at Slater Park in Pawtucket, RI capturing the colorful bushes and trees. I so love the vivid reds and yellows and oranges. Fall is my favorite season. I do hate to see those colorful leaves fall and have winter upon us.
Enjoy:)
I would have grabbed my camera, too, seeing such a beautiful sight.
Very bright colors!
I don't blame you...what a beautiful sight!
That was a good thing you did: taking this photo! It's breath taking!
Simply said: Cool.
