Looking Over the Wall of Fort George
(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it.)
I've shown several pictures of Fort George, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, Canada, in this blog. This picture shows the British flag flying above the wall of the fort.
The British flag is to be seen all over the world! Well it was the first flag next to our Dutch flag, after WWII that meant:"you are free now"...The British liberated us from Java, Indonesia! They took us to Singapore and from there to the Netherlands.
I'm a happily married retiree living on the Cumberland Plateau of Tennessee. I taught for 31 years and worked as a systems analyst for 9 years before retiring.

Looking over the wall of Fort George, I see some history from you.
This looks like a place my husband would love to visit.
I love those type of places to visit. We have lots of forts and battle sites in Kentucky.

Being a great friend of American history and specially the "Old Wild West", I can say that this something.
I could easily imagine to see for example David Crocket here.
