Autumn in the Glade
(This picture can be enlarged by clicking on it.)
Autumn has arrived in the Glade. We have clear, blue skies during the day and cold, crisp nights. So far the color has not been as vibrant as it has been in other years, but it is still very pretty now. The picture above was taken at Lake Canterbury here in the Glade on Sunday, October 18, 2009.

Very very pretty. Its been sunny here lately but I think we are supposed to get rain on wednesday.
Your state is SO GORGEOUS...especially this time of year. You and Betsy need to meet up with us when we go to Virginia next year. That would be fun!
Lovely sight!
Gorgeous George!!! I can tell you really appreciate your surroundings.
I love the colours of autumn.
This photo certainly "says" autumn. Fall is the best time to get out and take a ride to see the lovely sites.
Very pretty! Looks like the fall colors are starting at the bottom of the trees and then going up!
Beautiful! Even soft colors look better with a blue sky.
Blessings,Ruth
The colors are pretty. I noticed a few trees were getting red today. A lot are still green.
Beautiful scene. Love the colors of fall.
I think it's already very pretty! I hope the colors turn even more dramatic just for you. ;)
Perfect bled of Fall colors, fresh water and blue sky!
Thanks a lot sir for visiting my first WW entry. I am now following your blog.
By the way, I am trying to generate some support for our daughter. We entered her into a Smile Contest, and was wondering if you could please vote for her (just once), the contest runs until October 31st. Your vote would be so much appreciated.
To cast your vote, please go to this link. Please look for Jillian Rylie Cottrill.
Thank you very much!
Your autumn colors are wonderful!
I like the red color of autumn. Here it is varying from yellow to red from autumn to another. Very lovely photo.
