Koi at Garvan Gardans
In addition to beautiful flowers and flowing water, the Garvan Woodland Gardens contains a half acre koi pond. Betsy and I enjoyed walking down to the pond and observing the colorful koi. The colors of some of the fish were absolutely amazing.

This made me think of an article from last summer's paper about the fury of some residents complaining that the herons were taking some of their expensive koi fish. How dare they take such an easy meal....Michelle

I am always amazed by these guys too.
That orange sure does stand out in the green water. Nice picture.
The colorful Koi only add to the beauty of the area,I'm sure.

This koi is really gorgeous! A friend used to have one in his pond until a local otter discovered it. Now he stocks his pond with goldfish. ;-)
Koi are fascinating to watch, this one is a beuaty. Thanks for sharing.
