Many people have been to Niagara Falls and have seen, enjoyed and pictured the falls. But not as many people have seen what happens to all that water after it goes over one of the falls. The picture above is of the rapids in the Niagara River downstream from the Rainbow Bridge.

That's a lot of water. I sure wouldn't want to get caught in that. Love the color of the water.
Wow...that river is really moving!!!
Great shot George.
George I live down the highway east of Niagara Falls and I am always mezmorized when seeing the falls!
I love your Bewitched rose a few posts ago!
Loved seeing these - I haven't been to Niagra since I was a kid. I really need to go again!
What A Fantastic River In Full Speed !! Great Capture.Loved Your Blog..
I wonder if anyone rafts or canoes in that. Looks like some extremely wild water.
That is some really strong water current. I have always wanted to see Niagara Falls.
Very cool shot! I've been to the Niagara River many times...but when did you see it? All the way from Tennessee?!
The color of the water reminds me of the falls. Nice that's it's that clean looking.
Beautiful shot!
You are right George. The only visit I made "too many" years ago from Toronto, I remember, but not so sure, that the bus was driving long time along Niagara river. But that was after Niagara Falls.
Great photo.
