Bridal Veil Falls (Niagara), Part 2

In the picture I posted yesterday of Bridal Veil Falls at Niagara, it's possible to see the rails of steps leading up to the falls. The picture above was taken from those steps. As you can see, we got quite close to the falls. Fortunately, rain slickers were provided!

Thank goodness for the rain slickers. Sure have to protect your camera. I mentioned the falls at Cumberland. I love the feel of the mist from the falls. This past summer when the lake was way down, due to a leak near the dam no one was allowed near the falls. A lot of the lake area was closed.

This is such an awesome image, George! Scary too — a reminder of the power of water. That Cave of the Winds tour looks like a fantastic tour!
