Last Friday, the night of the full moon, I was trying to get some pictures of the moon as it was playing peek-a-boo through the clouds on the horizon. This photo is grainy, but I like the colors around the moon.

The moon is really illuminating a lot of color in those clouds. Mine came out with a solid black, boring background.

You're right. Those colors around the moon make it worthy to be posted. You can't even notice the grain without enlarging it. I like how the whole thing works with those clouds, too.

I would love to get the moon and clouds together. I don't know how to do that. I saw a post today that said they used a shorter lens. I've been trying with my zoom so maybe I'll try a shorter one and see.

What a magnificent shot. I was looking up at that moon from my aunties home and took a shot but my moon is almost lost in my photo. The lighting was not right.
