Cades Cove in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park is beautiful any time of the year, and Betsy and I try to get there two or three times each year, if possible. This picture, from my archives, was taken in September, 2010. It shows a field near the old Methodist Church in the cove.

The Cove in the Smoky Mountains National Park looks like an unspoilt
area with the wooded mountains close by. I'm not surprised that it's an area that you and Betsy enjoy going to whenever you can.
Oh how I love the Smokies and especially Cades Cove.... As you said, one cannot go wrong going there during any season!!!!!

An enchanting place for sure. we were there last Feb. while on our way home from Florida we stopped to visit our friends in Maryville....
The Smokies are so special to me. I especially like how the clouds come down to create the smokey effect.
